This 12-inch Meinl Travel Series djembe is rope tuned for authentic sound and accurate tuning, while the shell has been made from synthetic material, keeping the weight low and reducing sensitivity to fluctuating temperature and humidity levels, so it can even be comfortably played outdoors. The 12-inch diameter and 24-inch depth makes for a manageable travel buddy, while the construction ensures depth without compromising on the higher pitches overtones. The synthetic batter head that comes pre-fitted is tuned up via HTP nylon chords, and the entire shell has been finished with a Day of the Dead patterned print applied using eco-friendly techniques.
